Dauenhauer Family Campground, Oregon

This property is owned by Carl and Lores Dauenhauer and was initially operated as a multi-functional farm raising a thousand acres in various crops. In the early 1980's Carl and his children began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision of Carl's for quite some time. Carl usually goes for a walk through the vineyard in the during sunrise and sunset, weather permitting, and he loves to share his life-story with any camp
