Near Cheyenne, Oklahoma, nature lovers can explore 30,724 acres of the Black Kettle National Grassland. If you're willing to make the trip, this remote spot in Western Oklahoma is full of adventure. Check out the Black Kettle Recreation Area for hiking, fishing, boating, and chillaxin', plus two camping areas. The Antelope Hills are another can't-miss. They used to be known as the Boundary Mountains, and they marked the 100th Meridian. Plus, they separated the U.S. from Spain back in the day. If that's not enough to keep you occupied, hang out at Skipout Lake or Spring Creek Lake for more year-round fun. Each of these distinct areas features hiking trails and campgrounds, so you can settle in for some good old fashioned explorations.
