Camp on one of the cleared areas in our 2.5-acre meadow! Enjoy beautiful sunsets and wildflowers. - Good spot for people traveling through the area who need an easy place to car camp for the night. :) - Great for group camps/hangouts around a bonfire! -Make yourself at home in one of the large mowed circles. See photos! We purchased this piece of land right outside of Alum Creek State Park to renovate the old farmhouse and restore the natural beauty of the farmland. We can't emphasize enough how many amazing things there are to do in the area! Within 3-minute drive (or walk!) you will find: -Trailheads to 45 miles of multi-use (including equestrian) trails in Alum Creek State Park-Hemnick Brewery-Alum Creek watercraft (kayak, canoe, small boat) launch -Kilbourne Market Pizza-Alum Creek Osprey Watch overlook-Hogback Ridge Nature Preserve Within a 15 minutes drive:-Groovy Plants Ranch -Tangier Outlet shopping-Downtown Delaware shops, restaurants, galleries, and theaters-Ohio Wesleyan University-Hoof Hearted Brewery-Alum Creek State Park Beach, Campgrounds, Fishing, Boating, and many other recreational activities-The Little Brown Jug, The Great American Harness Race (annual September event)Pitch your tent on one of the cleared areas in our 2-acre meadow.

Would camp here again

Loved camping here, open meadow right next to a corn field. Walked down to the adjacent farm/ brewery and absolutely loved it. I would camp here again.

The meadow is beautiful including all mentioned amenities. The adjacent town is lovely ice cream, pizza, and more within a short walk. Within a short drive ( next time I'm bringing my bike) Alum Creek SP is your playground. I and more friends will be back.

Country Getaway But Not Secluded

This spot was what I needed to get out of the city. I felt safe camping here as a single woman with my two dogs. The host was responsive and super helpful. I will say, the field is not secluded as I had thought, and is surrounded by a baseball field and a crowded bar. It was not quiet in the evening because of the bar nor in the morning because of a baseball game. I almost felt a little silly camping in between the two. Again, totally got the job done for a place within 30 minutes of the city, but not exactly what I had expected. Couple other notes: There is a place to use the restroom if you need. There is a water pump with potable water, and the directions and the hosts instructions were very helpful!

Beautiful site with multiple options to set up camp. Although we were close to the road, there were no disturbances. The sunset was in perfect view from our campsite. Nicole was very friendly and helpful and they even have fresh eggs you can purchase! It was fun to see the chicken roaming around.
