Adorned with persimmon wildflowers and rugged foothills, Great Seal State Park boasts a beautiful corner of the Appalachians that simply can't be missed. The park's vast network of trails characterize it as a hiker and biker fantasy getaway. Trek one of 11 trails spanning over 17 miles, where strenuous and winding paths reward your hard work with breathtaking vistas. Once you've pushed your calf muscles to the limit, take a break with a relaxing game of disc golf or hunt for some of the resident wildlife with a valid Ohio permit. If you happen to come between June and September, consider taking a detour to Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheater, where their famous historical drama Tecumseh! plays out in a pleasant outdoor setting.
