If you are looking for a party you found it. We have no quiet hours, we do get loud and have a great time on the weekends. Its not uncommon for beer pong or card games to go into the early hours. Not the best idea to bring small children to a rager but were open to all ages and backgrounds, anybody that enjoys making friends and having fun on the lake. All guests must sign personal injury waivers to cover our 6. So about the property, its 120+ acres with a 5 acre man made lake that features blue waters, a beach area and tikibar. We have atv trails, private camp sites and group sites. Enjoy the day floating in the clear blue water, fishing (separate pond) or hiking. Our lake also features a launch pillow for blasting your friends up to 20 ft in the air! We also have inflatable cabanas on the water for rent if you want some R&R. Thanks for looking, would love to host you and your party out at the lake.

This Family farm is located in Cottageville, WV. It is owned and operated by my father Doug. We have had this farm since 1999. it’s primarily a cattle farming operation. We have tractors, cattle, old barns and new barns, hay fields, hilltops with great views, trails, a few ponds, berry bushes, and a great yard with a fire pit area under the giant silver maple tree. We don’t have any dogs but your is welcome. You will be welcome to enjoy the farm house porch and explore the entire farm, just make sure you shut any gates you go through. If you are interested, we have a studio apartment rental above the garage with its own private entrance that we also rent out. Additionally we have an RV that is also available for rental if you would like to invite your family and friends to join your trip and need extra space.Learn more about this land:We have a beautiful farm with access to 500+ acres to hike, ride atv’s, fish, and play. There is water and electric hookups next to our fire pit area. This is the end of the road so it’s very quiet and peaceful. You are welcome to bring your own atv’s and horses if you would like to use them on the property. Just make sure to notify us beforehand so we can have you sign a liability release. Located a few miles away Ripley Wv, there is a Kroger and Walmart for your shopping needs. RV lengths over 40’ are not advisable because of the 1 mile tight road you must go down to reach the farm.

Nestled under the shade bequeathed by a tall canopy of deciduous trees and alongside a gentle flowing brook, lies a forest opening perfect for immersing in nature’s solitude. Our private campsite is a short walk (3-4 minutes) from parking where you’ll find a footpath that empties out onto a level forest understory, surrounded by trees ideal for pitching tents and hammocks. Our campsite is equipped with the necessities: a firepit with a removable grill, a large table, and your own private outhouse with a composting toilet. Trails leading from the campsite will usher you short distances to our best stargazing hilltop, for playing in the shallow creek running alongside our campsite, as well as shaded forest and ridgetop views. Our pond, equipped with a dock, ladder and seating is a favorite short 7 minute hike for swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing. For longer hikes, any trail will connect you to our larger network of maintained trails over hill and dale, through shaded forests and open (mowed) pasture trails and farm-life views across our 80 acre farm. To make your packing lighter and your stay more comfortable, we offer the following "extra items" at an additional cost: - Firewood bundles (unlimited) - 5 gallons of water (or less) in jugs with handy pour spout - Charged battery pack with plug and USB receptables - Stringed twinkle lights - prehung (we do the hanging before you arrive) * must be ordered with our charged battery pack or bring own power source. The Campground is just a 8 min drive from downtown Jackson, where you can stop in and sample some of their locally famous places! If your feeling pizza, then you have to try Cardo's or, LaRosa's Pizza, If you want some good local BBQ, hop on over to Rowdy's Smokehouse. If you want to try a Western themed Roadhouse, there's Dakota's, or you can relax by listening to some live music while you eat over at Stockroom 601. Forked Run State park features hickory and maple trees lining lake shores, making this a classic Appalachian beauty. Walk along one of the hiking trails where you can keep an eye out for white-tailed deer and gray foxes tucked away behind the blue phox and bloodroot wildflowers. Catfish, bluegill, largemouth bass, and crappie are plentiful for the taking if you plan on bringing your fishing pole, and a ten horsepower limit on boating guarantees to keep the waters calm. If you're interested in catching some deer or turkey for a pre-emptive Thanksgiving feast, be sure to bring your hunting license with you. A small sandy beach and athletic courts provide that perfect balance of recreation and relaxation.
