Great place for wildlife enthusiasts. Easy access from the road. We are open year-round. Booking is essential. What a fabulous sunset from the loo!! Most impressive beautifully shady unfortunately we had a tyre blowout which changed our plans for second night but Georgina was most helpful. She recommended berry spring which was awesome an absolute must

Perfect little retreat
Lovely quiet location. Georgina was a wonderful host. Easy to get too and a great little spot to visit Berry springs, Litchfield NP, Dundee beach.

We loved Darwin river fern farm it’s a beautiful place would recommend it to everyone peaceful and safe place to camp (we where the only ones here that’s because it’s coming into wet season) and the power and water supply was great close to Berry springs and Litchfield for swimming we will definitely be back in the future

Private oasis…
With the whole place to ourselves, Darwin River Fern felt like our very own private oasis. The kids climbed trees and kicked the footy from sun up and sundown. Sitting and watching the colours change over the lower paddock at sunset was beautiful. The loo has the best view. You can see all the hard work going into the regeneration of this land and we can’t wait to be able to visit again and see the changes. To boot the location of this super Hipcamp is so accessible to top tourist destinations. Thanks for having us guys..

Spacious, close to two pubs , easy stress free communication with hosts. Clean site and facilities.
