$35/ night tent sites 3, 4 & 5, North Carolina
This 95 acre farm was once owned by the Davis family that predominantly raised dairy cattle. We were fortunate to find this property in 2017 and save it from urban development. We are retired yacht captains. Yep, you heard that right, we left the sea for the mud! But oh what fun it is! We farm for the same reasons you camp I bet. Freedom, peace and clean air! We raise the extraordinary Mangalitsa pig, A lard breed from Hungary that was nearly extinct in 1997! It's a long and fabulous story! We cannot wait to share our beautiful riverside farm with all of you!
