BeaverWood Farm (no children)

40 sites ¡ RVs, Tents15 acres ¡ Liberty, NY
We are a 15 acre farm on the shores of Swan Lake. There are plenty of campsites sites all around the property, accommodating tents, mid sized campers and RV's. No children under 16 please. Depending on how crowded we are, privacy varies, but on most weekends you can be out of site of other campers. Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! You may feed them, but PLEASE dont let them eat plastic bags. Be sure to put all food away when you are done. We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes at all times. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, at no charge. There is also a great mountain for hiking and a super secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Also enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old. Kelsey Creek Field and Valley

2 sites ¡ RVs, Tents23 acres ¡ Afton, NY
Learn more about this land: Reservations are open year-round. We welcome all types of campers, including RVs under 28 feet. Campers will enjoy a lovely mix of New York wilderness and wildlife, but the property is only a mile from local restaurants, shops, and the quaint town of Afton. We have one space for an RV on a gravel pad, but depending on your vehicle's off-road ability and/or how dry it is, you are welcome to park a little further away from the road and closer to the wildlife. Site 1 is the gravel pad for RVs. There are no RV hookups and the site is close to the road. Site 2 is parking your vehicle or RV anywhere on the property. If your vehicle has 4-wheel drive, you can use the road down to the valley. The top 4 acres is a cleared, gently sloping field that goes back 600 feet from the road to a ridge of trees, where the largest part of the property starts. There is a road that was cut down to the valley (about 70 feet of descent) that is an easy walk. Although the top property has some spots with nice views, the true beauty of the property is the valley and the flowing creek. One-half of the lower property is a pine forest with many great camping spots for those who don't mind carrying their gear. The other half, where the road ends, is an open meadow. Vehicles with 4-wheel drive can park in the meadow next to the creek. When the wild plants of the meadow are high, I will cut a path through it for convenient access to the creek and other favorite spots. The crystal-clear, unpolluted creek has two places to swim, about 3-5 feet deep (depending on the season and what changes the last rains made), and is full of crayfish, salamanders, and even brook trout if you like to fish. My two boys (aged 9 and 11) never tire of exploring the forest, brook, and wildlife with me, and a dip in the cool brook is refreshing on a hot day. About a mile from the property, in town, there is a place to park for kayaking or fishing on the Susquehanna River. Oquaga State park is only 23 minutes away with fishing, boating, and a sandy beach on Arctic Lake. I hope you will have a lovely time camping with us! Occasionally, there are two noise-making businesses that you may want to know before booking. There is a private shooting club about 2.5 miles away that is open on the weekends. Normally we don't hear them, but they do occasionally, a couple times a year, have events that we hear. There is also a race track about 2 miles away that you can hear from the property on race nights, which are usually once a month on a Friday, but they occasionally have additional special events. If you are looking for long-term camping, please let me know as we will definitely do discounts for weekly or monthly stays. Tiny Homes are also welcome.

@CatskillAdventure-Tent & Glamps

12 sites ¡ Lodging, Tents105 acres ¡ Hamden, NY
These Glamp sites are part of a historical farm estate in Catskill region. The house and the barn that stand on the 100+ acres have been there since the early 1800s. The glamps were originally setup for private use for friends and family, and have been a hit within that small inner circle. As guests to the farm house over the last few years continue to inquire as to how they can book/use the glamps, I decided to open them up for independent booking. They are nestled in an absolutely beautiful area within the Catskills and guests hear the constant sound of water in several glamps, experience nice 'tucked away' privacy in each of the glamps, yet 4 out of the 5 are no more than a 5 minute walk to the bathroom, and large social areas. The property has numerous nearby organic farms and tourist attraction, so there is plenty to do, when you are not relaxing and listening to music, snuggled next to a fire, watching a movie under the stars, or enjoy sparklers (small fireworks) in your own private slice of heaven. Learn more about this land: Limited Fall Foliage Availability...    Beautiful private estate with 105 acres. Multiple campsites, brook runs throughout property and waterfall, you can hear the sounds of running water throughout the property; making for a peaceful sleep. Glamp sites are sold as a 4 person/ 2 tent bundle and each group gets a dedicated inside shower and recreation area. Guests are free to hike within multiple hiking trails on the property or venture out to numerous state parks in upstate NY.Nearby cider mill, restaurants, brewery, distillery, hiking trails, canoeing & kayaking, antiquing, organic farm stores.
