This magical quiet piece of land on the Nottely River is a campers dream. Its scenic, and secluded with River access. You can fish off the river bank, kayak, or tube. The River is tranquil and great just to wade in as well. It is mostly 2 to 3 feet deep with an occasional deeper 5 to 10 foot pool. There is open space to play Frisbee or throw the football. A great mixture of openness but also nice trees for shade. There is a lot to offer in the surrounding area as well if people want to leave the camp site and explore Murphy or Blue Ridge. This site is strictly for the eco-conscious camper that will honor the river and the land. You can feel the good energy this place is seeped with the moment you get out of the car. We want to preserve its beauty and respect it with no impact camping, leaving no trace at all.Pitch your tent right by the peaceful river. There are plenty of nice flat options on soft ground. Enjoy sitting by the fire pit in a nice Adirondack chair while grilling dinner or gazing at a fire. This is a beautiful private 3 acre campsite nestled on a 400 acre tract of privately owned recreational land. You will feel immersed in nature and tranquility no doubt.

Perfect Hip Camp

This was an amazing hipcamp. Privacy on the river with a great fire pit. It was so quiet you really vouch get away . Close to Blue Ridge and Murphy for adventures. Will be back !

It was a nice, peaceful, private getaway for the family. The scenery was gorgeous and Christine, the owner, was very attentive and helpful with any of our needs. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this spot, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Christine gave clear directions, and made it as accommodating as possible. Wish I could’ve stayed longer!
