Perrumba Farm, New South Wales

First established in 2012 after moving with our four kids from suburbia to an off the grid bush block. Using permaculture and other low input farming techniques we have developed the farm to grow an abundance of food year round. We initially for self sufficiency purposes however as we saw an increasing need  and interest from people wanting to learn the skills associated with self sufficiency, in 2018 we opened the farm as a leaning centre to teach people about sustainable living and creating resilient food systems. We have a number of demonstration food gardens,  a mixed fruit and nut orchard, we breed heritage chickens and ducks, have a small aquaponics system.
