Once of the highway driving to the campsite you be surrounded by dense bushland. On arrival at the camp sight it'll be just you and the bush. You'll have a small clearing with a shelter surrounded by dense bushland where you can have a camp fire, in complete privacy due to having only one camp-site on the farm so you don't have to worry about others. You will hear native birds and possibly see native fauna. You will hear some slight road noise from the A1 Pacific highway due to the proximity but this noise is drowned out by the native birds and dense bushland. The camp sight is dog friendly and we allow you to bring your horses, dirt bikes and mountain bikes to explore the vast surrounding bushland and go riding on local tracks. (riding is not to be conducted within the property itself) You can also go Bush walking and we also recommend you bring a good quality spotlight so you can go spotlighting looking for native fauna that come out during the night. The property is not to far from a local 4wd access beach if your into beach fishing or sand driving there is also multiple Boat ramps nearing the property to launch boats into the Clarence River. This is also a primitive self sufficient campsite. We can supply firewood at an additional cost (wheel barrow size only) just contact us to arrange.(strictly no cutting of timber or firwood on the property includes fallen trees/logs or standing trees.) Mosquito repellent and citronella candles highly recommended during mosquito season. Please don't burn rubbish or non flammable materials in fire pits. We highly recommend having a 4wd to access the campsite during or after wet periods. Any suggestions and feed back is much appreciated Enjoy your stay. Lovely place to camp, couple extra hidden treasures here, so worth the stay! Only got the chance to speak to Caleb, and seems like a genuine bloke

Mororo Bush Camp
We met the host Caleb and he was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately all we could hear when we were trying to go to bed was the soothing sounds of trucks coming down the highway and we decided to leave through the night to find a quieter place to sleep. The property was beautiful and we wish we could have explored more through the day.

In nature by yourselfs
I loved the fact it is a single campsite, and the freedom that comes with that. Perfect setup with indoor area, and firepit and lots of space. Very friendly hosts.

Mororo Bush Camp
What a spot!
What a spot! Tucked away amoungts the bush. A little open tin hut with a fire place, gorgeous log seats and your very own outdoor dunny. Perfect spot to set up the camper and relax. And only a few kms to the beautiful illuka. Met bec and Caleb when their little pup went walk abouts, down too earth good people. Highly recommend. The spot does not disappoint, especially for the price Cheers Hayley, Tim and tribe
