Highfield Farm & Woodland, New South Wales
on 33 responses
Located roughly half-way between Sydney and Melbourne and close to the Hume, the Sturt and the Snowy Mountains Hwy.
Highfield combines farming with the conservation of endangered habitat. The bush campsite is located in our conservation area by a permanent creek. Great isolation, bird diversity and access to day walking tracks throughout Highfield and into neighbouring Ellerslie Nature Reserve.
There are no amenities so campers must be fully self-reliant bringing their own camping toilet and leaving no trace. Dogs are permitted but must be tethered or on a leash the whole time. Campfires are permitted when restrictions allow. There is plenty of firewood for you to collect.
Access via 4WD only.
