Originally settled in 1889 "Bobs Grant" this lovely property and the surrounding land was originally used for farming but is now mostly turf farms. Enjoy our little getaway down by the Hawkesbury River only 10 minutes from historic Windsor. A beautiful river shack for your use exclusively, including fire pit with direct access to the Hawkesbury river. Destroyed in the March and July 2022 floods, we have now re-built and are looking forward to welcoming back our guests. Bring your caravans, tent or swag - all are welcome! Unfortunately, boats are not. Relax and enjoy the serenity whilst being only 1 hour from Sydney. We offer the site to one group only, a maximum of 20 guests. However note, we are not a place for rowdy groups and parties. Groups are welcome here to enjoy the time with their family and friends, play a little music and relax by the river. The river can get busy (which is great after the floods as it has been dead for so long) and so can the road across the river but if you are enjoying your family and friends you won't even notice! We have one basic toilet, and one river water shower available too! Please bring your own drinking water. Weekend Getaway Close To Home!

Beautiful kept green grass with some comforts. Loved the pizza oven & seating under the pavilion. Nice views of the river.

A family get together success

The site was spacious and beautiful and the undercover facilities, fireplaces, bbq and pizza oven a great gathering space for our group. Megan the host was responsive and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.

Great little spot with easy access to the river and all the amenities that you need to enjoy a weekend away. Megan had great communication, and nothing was too much of a problem! Definitely recommend!

Great spot!

Megan’s place was gorgeous! Just what we needed for the long weekend. It had a fridge, fan, toilet, pizza oven and a bbq. There is easy access to the river to cool off (with a resident water lizard) and a big table to share meals and games with friends. The dogs were a total bonus 😊 Very happy with our last minute decision to stay on the Hawkesbury and recommend Megan’s place for a spot to connect with friends and camp in a little luxury. We’ll be back!

Gem, this place is absolutely gem. I never been to the place like this for camping. If I can I would 6 star ✡️, Megan is very helpful. This place is better in real than photos online. I tried to put few good photos let's see if this will make any justice to the beauty of this place.
