On the land of Pueblo de Cochiti Nation and the shores of the Rio Grande, lies Cochiti Lake where kind folks and tons of fun are sure to make this a favorite weekend spot! Enjoy trails for hiking and biking along the Tetilla Peak Recreation area or take to the waters in your vessel of choice for a day of soaking up rays! Anglers have piers a plenty, and beach lovers can chill on the shores before a quick jaunt back to your campsite. The fun doesn’t stop in the winter either, with cross country skiing and snowshoe trails; the sunsets are even more awe inducing behind snowcapped peaks. You’ll be back in all season to Cochiti, the chance for discovery demands it!
