Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Less than a 2.5 hour drive from downtown Boston and convenient to the trailheads, scenic views and swimming holes of the White Mountain National Forest, Huttopia White Mountains is an ideal place to escape to nature. Wake up and head out on an adventure, or stay and enjoy a swim in Iona Lake from our beach. There’s also our heated saltwater pool and plenty of freshly made meals to enjoy from our unique on-site bistro – we converted an old Airstream trailer and equipped it with a full commercial kitchen and even flatbread pizza oven! Couples and families alike will find plenty to explore on site, with additional attractions located conveniently nearby, including the shops and outlets of North Conway, tubing on the Saco River and the scenic vistas all along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway.

Wholesome Camping
We loved Huttopia! It was great not having to put up your own tent. The grounds were lively, it was private yet you could see other tents by. We found the tent and bathhouse to be very clean. It was a great stay and we’d definitely do it again. My family loved our private fire pit where we could frolic, roast marshmallows, and hot dogs and enjoy our time in the great outdoors.

Not sure if worth the price
I think that if I was truly tent camping out in the woods for $20/night, I could understand not having working bathrooms or potable water. But for $200+ per night, that was a little outrageous- especially considering that the campsite was advertised as having those features. The toilets didn't flush, and I feel horrible for whichever employee had to go in and scoop out all of the human soil multiple times a day, because where else we're people going to do it? There are a lot of paying campers at this campground. For $200+ /night, I would expect a reputable company to fix their toilets. As for the drinking water: Upon doing some of my own research, it seemed that there was an e-coli outbreak in the water source around the campsite and the staff tried to remedy the lack of drinkable running water by offering unlimited water bottles to campers. Inconvenient but understandable. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable. The lake was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time at Huttopia, a unique take on camping / glamping. The campground was clean, and the large canvas tents had all of the amenities you could ask for - linens, dishes, etc. Head up north, and then west along Rt. 112 for at least 4 parks that offer hiking and waterfalls. Great trip!

Huttopia is a DREAM! Even when it's full of people it still feels like I'm in my own private world. The tents are cozy, and everything is provided for you. Can't wait to come back next season!

Canadienne tent
This tent is part of Huttopia, a large family campground. There are many more tents, cabins and amenities than I was expecting. That being said, the tent felt brand new. Everything was exceptional, clean and well thought out. We were on campsite 2 on this listing (Canadienne 11 at Huttopia) and it wad the most wonderful babbling brook in front that really made it special! We were in in October and ther IS a heater but it can only be on in 30 min. Intervals.
