Creek Side Forest Hammock

The forest hammock is located by the creek. Take a short hike through the forest to this unique space fully surrounded in nature. Sleep to the sound of the fresh mountain water flowing and spring peepers. Hammock is equipped with a bug net and a tarp. Site has its own campfire pit. Creek is a shared space for meditation, play and bathing. This campsite is an outdoor experience for those wishing to "rough it", site is open year round with the expectation that you are prepared for and have the proper gear for the elements and understand the temperature and weather patterns of this region. This is a great space for those wishing to experience wilderness camping, conquer your fears of solo overnights while also being within a safe distance of your host. The outhouse toilet is located within a 2 minute walk and fresh well water can be collected at the community hand pump which is aprox 500yards from the hammock site. You will need to bring all of your own gear for cooking, food and vessel for collecting water. I have one additional hammock available that does not include a bug net and space available for additional hammocks if you desire to bring your own. If this is the case, please message me prior to booking. Both hammocks available are rated for summer use and can include a sleeping bag. I have sleeping bags available for use rated between +6C to -45C. These will need to be reserved prior to booking.

Back Again for Another Amazing Stay

I stayed ten nights at Griffin and Julie's HipCamp, and it was truly an incredible experience. I booked a green space to park my car and camped out in it most nights, with one night spent in a tent under the stars. The site was peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature — perfect for anyone looking to unwind. Julie and Jasper took me on a beautiful backcountry hike and overnight camp — a real highlight of the trip. Every day I had the luxury of bathing in a fresh, clear brook right on their property. The nights were filled with clear, starry skies that made every evening feel magical. Whenever I plan to be in the area, I stay at their Hipcamp site. This time there was also a permaculture inspired art and music festival called Praxis Project NB nearby, which I attended. This was my fourth stay at Griffin and Julie's Hipcamp.

I have stayed at Julie's site few times now. I had an amazing experience everytime. Juile is very welcoming. The site itslef is well maintained with amenities like fire pit and outdoor seating. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore the outdoors, this spot is ideal. There are great hikes nearby and lovely people.

Staying at the Winnebago was great! Kids loved it! Especially splashing in the creek. All the amenities we possibly needed were on site. Julie was super nice and introduced my kids to her dog. Highly recommend this spot

I enjoyed staying in the Winnebego Brave motorhome. It had all necessities. The bed was excellent. Julie is a fabulous host. I got to know so much about mushrooms, and local area from her. The roosters woke me up every morning. Loved it!!
