The location is great if your looking for a place for the night half way between Chicago and Denver. Just a few miles off of I-80. Parking spot was gravel, but reasonably level. Cory came right out to meet me & was super friendly. Water worked, didn’t try the electric. There was a bike trail across the road. Didn’t try the porta potty, looked pretty iffy. There were a number of trains through the night. It was cold & I had the van buttoned up, they weren’t loud enough to bother me.

Decent Site, HORRIBLE BATHROOM!
I stayed here on a road trip through NE. It was later in the day and I wouldn't be getting to camp until 10PM, and all other campgrounds wouldn't take reservations for the day of stay. So I came across this listing and Corey got right back to me. The site itself was how it was described, #12 at top of the hill. It was flat, I have a truck camper, with water and electric hook up and there was plenty of open space for my dogs. The bathroom however, which was a porta-potty & I'm totally fine with porta-potties, but this thing was atrocious. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months if ever, poop on the walls, dead mice, trash covering the floor, and full toilet paper rolls were thrown in black waste. This campground should not advertise it has a bathroom, because it does not have one decent enough for humans.... and if you had kids, you'd be stuck having to take them elsewhere or just going in the field.

Quiet spot. Thick lush level grass for the tent. Corey was outstanding and responsive.

Lovely campsite passing thru NE
Corey’s beautiful property is on quiet street a short drive off the highway. We felt very safe, after arriving past dusk, and slept comfortably. Corey even greeted us the next morning on our way out with a bar of Darn Good Goat Soap as a small souvenir of our passing through Nebraska. Thank you, Corey!

First Timers
This was a great experience for our first time using Hipcamp, and our first time out in our tiny travel trailer! It was easy to find, Corey was helpful, and the site was very well maintained. The potable water tasted great, which is always a plus. 😊 And the porta potty was very convenient for those without facilities in their campers. Also, we could hear trains in the distance, which my husband loved! We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!
