Peaceful and quiet surrounded by lots of wildflowers, wildlife, and the pleasant aroma of sagebrush. Parking area is reasonably flat. Remote subdivision on 4500-foot ridge, 10 miles from Columbus exit 408, off of Interstate 90. Your camping spot is near the road for easy access, but the road is private and dead-ends just beyond my property, so traffic is very minimal.
I aim to treat all my guests as if you were a long-time friend. I try to be your personal concierge, so anything you need or want to know, just ask.

Join the Great Migration west—to Cooney State Park, that is, where it might just feel like everyone and their grandmother has ventured for the weekend. But Cooney’s got plenty of mountain views to go around, and you sure won’t be left wondering why Montana’s called Big Sky Country here. Fish for walleye and rainbow trout, sail or motor across the endless reservoir, or plop down on the beach with your camera. We promise any photograph taken here will be your desktop background for the next five years, minimum. Cooney State Park doesn’t believe outdoor fun should be left to the summer months.
