Winnie Dam is in the heart of Minnesota’s lake country on the stunning Winnibigoshish Lake (gazuntite!). While exploring the park, visitors can reconnect with their wild side. There is ample wildlife viewing where you just might catch an eagle soar, or a black bear scurry through the mixed hardwood forest. Don’t forget to fill your basket with wild blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries galore! Other activities include some epic boating and fishing, and strutting your stuff on the scenic hiking and biking trails that surround the lake. Don’t forget your tent or RV and try out the parks popular campground. At the end of the day you’ll be singing praise to the north as you watch the sunset dance over the lake, margarita in hand.
