We are the Davis’s and we started our off grid homestead in 2017. We reside on 80 acres of absolute beautiful nature. We have rolling hills covered in hardwoods throughout the property. Hence the name we chose Hardwood Hills Homestead. The property had been in my wife’s family for sometime and when an opportunity came for us to buy it we jumped at the chance.
We currently have a dog (Sergeant), 2 pigs, 5 egg laying chickens. We will continue to add more livestock as we go. We also have a large garden and small orchard that we cleared the land for and have grown in it now for 2 years. Are goal it to be a close to self sufficiency as possible.
Current project at the homestead:
*We added a large addition to the existing cabin that was here when we purchased the property. We are still in the midst of
