Rustic off-grid camping, but we live across the street in case of any urgent necessities. 15 minute drive to Torch Lake sandbar or the town of Kalkaska. 30 minute drive to Traverse City, Bellaire (Shanty Creek), Elk Rapids, Alden and all the other amazing northern Michigan towns. Fishing, hiking, boating, paddling, hunting, sailing, snowmobiling, ORV trails, mushroom hunting or any outdoor activity surrounds this quiet spot. Private 5 Ac Wooded Rustic Campsite
Great spot to have a secluded stay in the woods without being too far away from the nearby attractions like Torch Lake and Traverse City. There is very little traffic that goes past, and very little noise overall other than the neighbor's rooster.

Great place to camp! Large lot with a lot of room. We had two dogs with us that had a great time running around the property. There was a very loud rooster nearby that woke us up every morning around 5am but outside of that it was perfect!

Nice Private Location
This is a nice, private spot. Perfect for tent and van camping. There is spot for parking and then you walk a little bit into the trees where there is a big fire pit and area to set up tents. We have a travel trailer and it fit in the parking area. I would not recommend it for travel trailers if you are not comfortable with backing it up or down a decent hill with a curve. There is not a place to turn around. This spot is close to Torch Lake and about 25-30 minutes from Traverse City. Would stay here again.

Private 5 Ac Wooded Rustic Campsite
Rustic wooded camping for those who need to get away. This camp is mainly setup for tent camping with more privacy deeper in the woods, but can fit any size RV! However, if bringing a camper, you should be comfortable backing up, as there is no turnaround and you have to back out of the site. Wasn't an issue for us in our 24ft RV. Camping was peaceful and quiet, close to Traverse City for day trips and supplies. Great spot to enjoy nature for a weekend.

Private 5 Ac Wooded Rustic Campsite
This is a good place to stay if you have mulitple people camping. We had 10 people camp on this property...3 campers and 2 tents. We were able to ride side by sides from the property and hit trail heads in Kalakaska. We also enjoyed Torch Lake by kayaking, hanging out on the sandbar, and swimming. It was a great tims with all of our family over 4th of July!

Good spot!
Ian and the property were great! A little hidden spot - semi private with neighbors in view. Great for a quick and easy stay!
