Looking for a last minute getaway to the Cape where you can camp in a yurt? Shawnee-Crowell State Forest is only 1 hour from Boston and located at the base of Cape Cod. The area includes rolling wooded hills, and more than 15 miles of trails for your hiking, biking, or equestrian needs. While there are no ponds or beaches within the park, there are numerous close by and a pass from this park gets you into Scusset Beach for free! Look forward waking up to smell the crisp pine, with a cup of coffee in your hand preparing you for your daily adventure. This place is several kinds of awesome!
