If loads of laughs go hand in hand with your adventuring, we’re positive you’re gonna have a good time at Rocky Lake Public Reserved Land. The park is an off roader’s dream, with roads for snowmobiling and ATVs. There’s also only two very small hiking path at Rock Lake, so what’s a hiker to do? Get out on the water, of course! With gigantic Rocky Lake and smaller Second and Patrick Lakes at your fingertips it’s time hop in your watercraft and explore the shores! Fish for bass, sunfish and perch. Watch for loons and bald eagles that frequent the piney tree tops and coyotes, bobcats and moose down below. There’s waterfront (and boat in) camping, so those who are wanting long floats down the East Machias River and it’s thrilling rapids, can stop off and enjoy the tranquility of Rocky Lake. Come for the scenery, stay for the adventure, Rocky Lake is sure to leave you with a smile on your face!
