Rolling hills, rocky mountains, quaint New England villages, and the picturesque harbors of the Atlantic Ocean. Camden Hills State Park is in the heart of it all. Set up camp at the award-winning campground and let the good times roll. First order of business? Hiking up Mount Bettie. It’s a pretty easy climb, and you’ll just start to break a sweat when you get to the top, where the whole of Penobscot Bay and Camden Village is presented before you. Speaking of Camden Village, this charming New England fishing village is just a few miles from the park. Here you’ll find boutique shopping, a working harbor, whale-watching excursions, and some of the best seafood you’ll ever taste. Get yourself a taste of the mountains and the shore at Camden Hills State Park.
