New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park

Learn about the history of jazz when you visit this national historical park. The Rangers really know their musical history, so don't miss their daily talks. You might get lucky and catch a concert as well.
Get there a little early to get a good seat for a performance by one of the city's amazing jazz artists—and yes, your seat is included with your (low) price of admission. Don't be surprised if the same Park Ranger who introduces the performers picks up a clarinet and sits down to play with the band.
While you're waiting for your concert, stroll through the museum. You'll see instruments owned by famous jazz musicians like Louis Armstrong and a wealth of photography.
