The outdoors life can’t get any better than it already is at Yatesville Lake State Park. With 2,300 acres of lake, three islands, rugged backwoods hiking and a golf course that is considered one of the best in the country, what more could you want? Rent a houseboat and float out on the lake, or “boat-in” to your own private island campsite. Hike through the wooded Eastern Kentucky foothills to find the most dramatic view of the lake or tee-off on the immaculate and incredible Eagle Ridge Golf Course. Whatever you end up doing, you’ll want to stay the entire weekend because this campground was named one of the best in all of Kentucky and Tennessee! It’s all good here, like, seriously good. So why don’t you pack up the clubs, the kayak, the delicious s’mores ingredients and get here already?
