This land was bought for the purpose of creating a place called Kids Ranch. It was intended to be an exciting place for young people of all ages, to come and explore, to learn skills like how to garden, woodworking, how to care for animals, etc., but most of all, a place to learn that God is good, work is essential and how to love your neighbor as yourself. When I lost my husband in 2012, the plans went to the wayside. However, the good news is that it is now open for you to enjoy. It is a very peaceful place that has a lot to be explored, and a night sky that is to die for.

We are about 700+ feet above sea level, and with no lights to interfere, it is as if you can reach up and touch the stars. We are about 30 miles from everything that Bowling Green, KY, has to offer: 45 miles from the home of the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, TN; 8 miles from Scottsville, KY, the home of the famous Harpers Catfish and Earl G. Dumplin's restaurants, among others; 20 miles from Barren River Lake and State Park; 15 miles from Circle C Ranch and horseback camp; 5 miles from Browns Pay Lake. We are in KY, but we border TN on the south side of the farm.
