Hones Pointe

Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers in a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall. Primitive camping where you can pick your own scenic spot. We will furnish picnic table, fire ring, garbage can, and charcoal grill during your campout.Welcome!

When you hear Indiana, You’re likely thinking what’s so special about it? Most people don’t realize just how beautiful the scenery and full of history southern Indiana is along the Ohio River. About a 15 minute drive to Old Historic Madison, Indiana. Where they have the beautiful Clifty Falls State park, a Walmart, Kroger, Lowes, Tractor supply, and tons of restaurants and bars. Madison hosts all sorts of summer activities, there’s typically something happening every weekend. 4th of July weekend Downtown Madison has the unlimited hydroplane boat races and roostertail festival. Live music, boats racing at an impressive 200+Mph! Fireworks and a large diversity of food and craft venders. Madison also has wineries and little museums. Or enjoy a stroll/jog on the river walk. If you’re looking to find a little more peace and seclusion we can offer you just that! We have a Fairly decent sized farm It’s nice and quiet, plenty of opportunity to get in touch with nature’s beauty. Enjoy the sun rise Early mornings and sun set in the evenings. Chances are high for seeing some wildlife. We have deer, wild turkey, rabbits, all types of birds including a bald eagle usually flying close by. Fishing! Yes it’s available!! I do have limited access to a pond that can be fished. No license required! Catch and release only River fishing: I am willing to show some good spots on the Ohio river. A fishing license will be required. I have ample space for basic tent camping, Rv/ skoolie parking/ storage. Or if you want to get out there with raw nature, I have a couple great spots for Dispersed camping. Some of our favorite features We have to offer everyone, are the wide open night sky for stargazing and seeing the Milky Way, Private fishing and waterfalls! No Need to worry about crowds, enjoy the nature and waterfalls in seclusion. There really is something for everyone in the Family to enjoy

Nightfall Farm

2 sites · Lodging129 acres · Crothersville, IN
We're bringing my family farm back to life. My parents farmed here until the 1980's, but couldn't make a profit with corn and soybeans. My husband, Nate, and I moved home in 2014, and started turning the fields into pastures. Today, we run Nightfall Farm, raise animals with respect, and sell pasture-raised meat locally. Come wander the 125 acres of woods, wetlands, and farm. Check out the animals in our pastures, and walk along the Muscatatuck River. Enjoy a quiet fire. Hear the roar of frogs calling in Spring. Chase fireflies. Behold a family farm coming back to life.
