This incredible reservoir in the Flint Hills of Kansas is worth a trip just to experience its charming beauty in every season. This is the largest remaining stand of of original native tallgrass prairie in the whole country. Plus, John Redmond Lake is strategically positioned in the middle of the vast Central Flyway, a migratory path for migratory water and songbirds. Highlights include awesome fishing, 240 acres for you and your OHV, and the spectacular Hickory Creek Trail for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use.
