Soak in those 5,700 acres of water, 'cause Heyburn Park is the sweet spot for all your camping needs. Kayak or canoe around one of three lakes, or fish for some crappie and smallmouth bass to eat up after a succulent slow grill. Waterfowl hunting may also make for a special meal under the stars. Once you've got the water fun out of your system, hop on a bike to traverse the Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes that runs directly through the park, one of the most popular bike riding spots in the US. At only 50 miles from Spokane, Washington, we have a feeling you'll need to take a detour for some of the city's fabled coffee.
