Beat the heat in the mountains of northern Georgia. As they say at Moccasin Creek State park, “it’s where the spring spends the summer.” Despite it’s mountain home, the park itself is pretty flat. RVs will find the camp roads easy to navigate, and even little tikes with little bikes will have an easy time pedaling here. The 2,800-acre Lake Burton is the showpiece of the park. It’s the perfect oasis for swimming, skiing, boating, and fishing. Hike the trails, explore the mountains, chill around a blazing fire, and return home refreshed and invigorated from your mountain adventure.
