Welcome to this popular camping destination that was once a prosperous industrial town. Tumbling cascades form the tallest falls south of Atlanta along the Towaliga River. Combine nature and history with a hike through a forest to the remains of a power plant foundation.
Being your fun with time on the water. Put your boat in the lake and spend the day fishing. Anglers love High Falls Lake for its great bass. Take a dip in the 650-acre lake or at the swimming pool.
Hop on a 4.5-mile trail that takes you along the river's edge. Then, trek through a hilly forest that sings with color in the fall time. Eventually, you will come across the remnants of the industrial town and a foundation for a hydroelectric plant.
