Site 6 - Hatch Camp and Art Farm
I booked this site last minute and I would do it again one year in advance. I cant recommend this place enough. secluded, but close to town (ish) and the water running next to the campsites is amazing. cannot thank scott enough for his fly fishing knowledge and insight. I fished one day in several creeks and caught enough wild trout to last me a while 😉

This place is magical! Even tho there was a fire ban during our stay, with all of the amenities we were able to have so much light, shelter, and fun. Scott was a most gracious host and we will be back!!

Absolutely loved this campground, what a gem. Scott was awesome and gave us access to lots of amenities that added to the perfect birthday camping weekend! We will 100% be back soon :)

Site 5 - Hatch Camp and Art Farm
Host was very communucative and accommodating. The photos of the sites were misleading and for the price there are not much for amenities. We didn't stay or even get oit of the car when we showed up for our reservation due to the disappointment of what the "sites" looked like. The property needs some TLC and the prices shouldn't be that same as the statparks where you have loads of amenities and access. We just went to a different camp ground and got lucky they had available sites. Like I said host seemed nice and we felt bad leaving like that but definitely judged the book by its cover and dont regret it because we had an excellent weekend elsewhere.

Art & music make camping funner!
Check out this funky property in the midst of really pretty mountains, great hiking trails, cute little towns, and the great Black Rock Mountain state park...among others!

Family of 4 tent campers loved it!
What are terrific place to stay with our family! We were lucky enough to catch a reservation on a night when Scott was hosting a concert. Great music, wonderful guests, and a very mellow, rustic setting. Campground is very compact since it is on 8 acres. However, we didn’t feel crowded at any time. Toilet facilities are two Port-a-Pottys or pee-in-the-bush. There are stand pumps of potable water. Firewood is available. There are hook ups for RVs but this is definitely not an RV park! Our campground was nestled against a stocked trout stream in a sweet little valley, surrounded by horse stables and other homes. Scott has a lively personality and loves what he does, that shines through!
