Nestled among the tall pines and winding trails on a very private 10-acre farm, is our Tiny House. Designed to be eco-friendly but maintain the amenities we are all accustomed to! If you want world-class fishing, unparalleled seafood or dig through history; then the cabin at Le Marecage’ is for you! This cozy cabin is perfect for a couple's get away! Minutes from historic Cedar Key, FL and less than an hour from Gainesville (home of the U.F. Gators).
If you have seen "Tiny Houses" then you know a lot of cute and functional can go into small packages! This cabin has all the amenities you could want; air conditioning, WiFi, 32" flat tv, (access to Hulu and Netflix), dvd player, a small dvd library, a luxurious antique tub with a great shower (even tall people like to soak in bubble baths!). The bathroom has a full complement of towels and hygiene supplies in case you forgot something! There is a butane powered kettle for (supplied) gourmet coffee and tea, as well as a mini fridge with water. The kitchenette window overlooks the Troll Garden, where you are very likely to see the native rabbits stop by for dinner with the Trolls! The Lazy Boy leather sofa is super comfortable to kick back and watch the morning news and in seconds, turns into a queen sized Sealy Posturepedic bed for two! There is a cot and linens available for a third guest or child. Toys and books available for an accompanying child. All linens, are supplied as are disposables such as bathroom tissue and paper towels. We collect and wash towels every other day after check-in and also supply beach towels (one for each guest). Guests have full access to a 24' saltwater pool on the property; just a few steps from their private front door. Numerous trails to walk around the 10-acre farm.
