The Off Family Ranch has been in the same family for nearly 150 years. In its early years, it was a farm and ranch, powered mostly by horses, with a variety of crops and animals grown for consumption. As the years wore on and shifts in technology and agriculture came it went, today the ranch is a 'cow-calf' operation where mama cows have their babies year after year. Another essential part of what we do is growing hay for the winter, so while the cows and calves are in the mountains during the summer, we are busy growing and harvesting hay for the winter. Now in its 4th generation, David runs the operation along with help from Keri and the up and coming 5th generation, Ryder. We have a deep gratitude for the land and water and feel a responsibility to manage it well for all life, above and below the ground, with the intention of harm
