Clear Lake Campground is small, vintage RV and tent campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground offers fishing, kayaking, and boating right from Camp. A car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach. The park offers rustic charm with great fishing and bird watching right from your campsite. We have a boat launch for your kayak, canoe or motor boat and we have canoe and kayak rentals. Cool off in the small pool. Challenge your family to a ping pong tournament or corn toss game. Lake County guests enjoy stunning vistas, world-class wines, the largest freshwater lake in California, the cleanest air in the US and endless outdoor activities. Activities include fishing, birding, kayaking, biking, hiking and wine tasting. Our staff have been trained as tourism ambassadors and can help you make the most of your vacation. Travel trailers, campers, tents and RVs are all welcome. Most sites include water, sewer and 30 amp electric. Limited wifi. Campsites are hard packed dirt. We also have 3 partially-furnished canvas bell tents to make your stay even easier! Please note, our small vintage campground is best suited to smaller trailers and motor coaches. Sites range from 25-40 feet long and 18-24 feet wide. Please plan accordingly.

Cache Creek
Shady Acres Campground is a great campground for everyone- families, novice campers, and road trippers. Bring your fishing gear and catch big channel cats along the river. Boat rentals are available at the general store. Lisa and the camp hosts are great people who are friendly and accommodating. They will make sure you have all you need and are having fun. Bathrooms are shinny-clean with showers (included with the campsite!) and flush toilets. Also bring your swimsuits as there is a pool. I highly recommend the campground and I will be returning again soon. Clear Lake is an enormous, natural, fresh water lake of about 70 sq miles worth exploring. Also Lisa mentioned that vintage trailers coming up in the campground! yay!

Cache Creek Tents
It was a great experience, everyone that worked there was so nice and happy to help if there was any problems. We were right by the water and it was great to hear the splashing of the fish and the calm soothing flow of the stream. The bathrooms were nice and clean and so was the pool. I was happily surprised that they had a pool and corn hole. They also have canoeing at a great price. The only bad thing was the rice flies if you decide to go ask them if the rice fly season is over. Trust me you will thank me for that.

Cache Creek
Such a sweet charming campground. It has a small number of RV (or travel trailer) site and all are water front and all have full hook ups and all (or most) have their own small dock. The owners and staff couldn't have been more kind, friendly and helpful. The bathrooms had stalls, flushing toilets, electrical outlets and free showers! Sweeeet! The campstore/office had beer, wine, champagne, a few snacks and light fishing supplies. A pool, pooltable, pingpong table, corn hole and a shady area with lawn and tables with umbrellas rounded out the amenities nicely. These are old fashioned amenities though, not a slick modern KOA kinda thing. Expect charming and old-school and you will be pleased....very relaxing and very safe vibe. You can also swim, canoe and kayak right from the docks.

Cache Creek
Beautiful location, great people. The only drawback was that the road is noisy all night and there is a bright light shining right on your tent all night too.

Cache Creek Tents
A very welcoming and comfortable place to stay cation. Light hum from the open road in the distance, but it gets pretty quiet when it gets dark. Staff is awesome. Great spot to fish. Definitely going back!
