The Schult Zeppelin is a 1954 vintage 33-foot trailer home which features beautifully restored wood interior and amazing views to the south of Joshua Tree National Park. A wood deck is in process with the intention of encircling the Zeppelin on all sides. Zeppelin is safely and luxuriously habitable now! The Buzzards Roost is a 5-acre parcel facing the village of Joshua Tree. It's awesome! Our reviews say it all! Enjoy!
This vintage trailer is my second rescue from Quartzsite, Arizona where it had been enclosed by a building for over fifty years, the deal was to remove the Schult from the structure without tearing down the building. Others told Taffy and Dave Force that it couldn't be done and that it would have to be cut into pieces and hauled away to the dump. Short story; I got it out with the help of my good friends Matt and Gregory and it was transported to Joshua Tree and is now ready for guests to enjoy. It will be surrounded by a large permaculture and yoga view deck over the next year (work in process now!) where we will educate interested parties on a wide scope of regenerative ideas. It has a rear bedroom with a full comfy new mattress. The Zeppelin sleeps four. Note: very compact bathroom and shower. May not be a good fit for larger folks. A lot of storage, big refrigerator, electric stove, electric heaters in living room and bedroom. Excellent kitchen well stocked for cooking and everything else you might need. Also, a wagon wheel sleeper sofa in living room and small table and chairs, so can sleep four but could be crowded for some if they need the wide-open space. We are not liable for accidents or damages you cause. Be respectful of our property and most of all have fun!!
Strict No Pet’s policy here, please don't ask, we love animals, but we are open range with coyotes passing thru and trailers are not suitable for pets.
Also as part of our energy descent plan we do not allow burning of any kind, for any reason, as an edge dweller we are enlightened with the knowledge that father sun can provide for all our energy needs. We have installed a twenty-four panel PV solar array on our property main house which generates all our power and heater needs. So, we are solars, not burners and do not allow any burning including smudging, incense or candles, camp or bonfires or firearms on our property! Furthermore, we would prefer you not smoke during your stay, as these choices are harming this planet we all share and for your own health. If you must smoke it is allowed outdoors only and we expect you to pick up and empty your butts, clean and empty your ashtray etc. into the trash can provided. Please do not flick your cigarette butts onto the property. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
