This is a magical forest retreat and we love to share it with others who are like-minded. Right out of the Mendocino National Forest, 100-Acre Forest and Meadow Retreat is just minutes to the Eel River out of the small town of Potter Valley and 15 minutes to Lake Pillsbury. Private views, fresh spring water and endless possibilities. *******We also recommend that you have AWD or 4x4 vehicle, as the road is dirt coming in and the campsite are up the mountain off of a dirt road*******We have 2 campsites currently with fresh spring water, and fire pits. Private and in the woods. Lots of hiking on the land, with stunning views. Bring your own tent, hammock, food whatever you need to be a happy camper!! In the spring of 2019 we added in 2 new yurt sites, with soaking tubs, filled with hot spring water. We have 2 campsites to book for regular camping tents and we just added a community bathroom . Nestled away in the forest very private queen size bed natural spring water for soaking in the tub on your porch. In addition for comfort and convenience we have a nice bathroom with hand-washing station. Each yurt can come with propane heat in winter time you need to request it, in the Extras. making it cozy all year long. *******We also recommend that you have AWD or 4x4 vehicle, as the road is dirt coming in and the campsite are up the mountain off of a dirt road*******.

Orr Hot Springs is just up the road or take a very special hike through a protected redwood forest at Montgomery Woods. Settle into the peaceful surroundings and see stars like you've never seen them before. Our fur babies will happily greet you with some dog kisses while we show you to your tent. Fresh, pure spring water is also provided at no charge. We're a working lavender farm and you're welcome to participate in whatever we're doing during your stay, just let us know. Stornetta lands are 10 minutes from the property, abundant with hiking and wildlife watching. Manchester Beach is about 10-15 minutes away, Lighthouse is about 10 minutes from us which is a really wonderful sight. Additionally, Point Arena downtown and harbor are about 10 minutes away by car, Pelican Bluffs Preserve is about 10-15 minutes from us, among many more beaches and view points. Mendocino is just about half an hour away, so it's a really easy trip if you'd like to explore this great coastal spot! Hiking, forest bathing, beach walking, cliff walks, kayaking, and canoeing are just some of the best and most popular things to do around here. We suggest bringing bathing suits if it's warm out. We, as your Hosts, greet our guests upon arrival but then leave you to enjoy your stay and respect privacy, unless more interaction is wished for. We absolutely love meeting guests who are especially appreciative of being in nature. We hope you enjoy being surrounded by the redwoods, the pretty creeks, the wild mushrooms, and the nearby ocean as much as we do! Hint: this spot is even more special and unique during mushroom season! About the Listing: This loft-style cabin studio has one bedroom with a comfy king bed for two, and one full bathroom. It is equipped with all the amenities just like you're home - only better because you're on vacation! The blazing fast internet helps you to stay connected while you can enjoy privacy, calmness and nature. In addition to a full indoor bathroom, we also offer an outdoor shower that is right outside of the cabin and a wonderful treat in the middle of the Redwoods.
