As this property is at the top of the water shed, there are small creeks in every direction.
One of the largest salamanders we've seen that lives in one of the cool shaded pools on the property.
A happy and daring camper climbing up a fell tree over a waterfall.

Mt. Shasta was covered by clouds, but we managed to get a peek. There are other properties around, so its not completely secluded.
Our set up for chillin and eating breakfast in the morning. The rain during the night prevented us from starting a fire, but we were able to enjoy the quiet morning..

The road to get to the site. Some cars were driving down it throughout the night. Not too many but enough to not feel secluded.

Nestled in between the trees.

The campsite is behind Sphinx rock. When you arrive, you drive past the house (or park there if tent camping) and the site is located right around the rock. It's feels so private - you can't even see the house - like you're own spot in the wild west. :)
Mid-way point to the top of Sphinx Rock.
