This is a small rural organic farm in the heart of recreational fun and pleasure. This original piece of property was first established in 1901. We grow the "Kiss of Burgundy" organic globe artichoke on this land, and some hay. It is a quiet area with visitations of birds and country creatures. You will have the choice to park under a nice treed location with power and water or out on the land without any utilities.
You are just down the road from North Shore Lake San Antonio (4) miles, 18 miles to the South Shore where there is excellent fishing and water sports, horse and hiking trails and events. We are 22 miles from Lake Nacimiento, also filled with great fishing and all types of water sports. Fort Hunter Liggett is only 8 miles away with a huge population of wild animals like deer, elk, hogs, etc. and 3 small fishing lakes, active base, motel and dinner house. You are only a mile from the school, grocery store, community center and church.
At our home ranch, which is just 4 miles away, there is a general country store with horse equipment and tack, custom jewelry and metal art, auto and marine supplies, hardware and much more. We also offer horse riding lessons and arena riding at the home ranch. If you have a horse(s) we are more than willing to set up porta corrals at the site, or we have box stalls we can offer you at the home property.
We ask, since we are an organic site, that your cats and dogs either be on leash or in a kennel at all times. If you wish, we can provide an 8 x 10 kennel at your parking site.
