For several decades the farm was owned by a french gentleman and his wife, who split their time between the farm and their house in the south of France. The charming farmhouse, now occupied by our farm worker and his family, was built by the previous owner.

Later, blueberries were planted along with an assortment of subtropical fruits such as cherimoyas, guavas, kumquats, mulberries, passion fruit, along with various citrus varieties. We are now expanding our dragon fruit plantings.

Most of the farm is between 1200 and 1400 feet above sea level, approximately 15 miles from the southern California coast. Temperatures are generally mild in the mid-60s to mid-80s most of the year. Beautiful sea breezes in the afternoons. Plenty of sunshine of course. The lay of the land is quite picturesque with vistas out to the west, north, east, and south depending on the camp site.
