Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.

CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.

Canoelands Valley Camping is an easy-to-access camping area with magnificent views through the National Park Valley. There are two allocated camping/van 2WD access zones and two private sites with access via 4WDs. Enjoythe privacy and access to walk around the 40 acres.
Located 1.15 hrs from Sydney CBD this is an ideal place for a quick weekend getaway for keen hikers, mountain bikers and nature enthusiasts.
Surrounded by the Marramarra National Park you have a short drive to access the Canoelands Ridge Trail (17kms), Duckponds Ridge Trail, Marrarra Ridge to Smugglers Point Ridge Trail.
We are a short drive to dine at Wiseman Ferry, and only 11 minutes from the local Woolworths. Or enjoy a beautiful walk at Fagan Park in Galston.
Your camping/van area is supplied with red/bins. 2
Portaloos available at the front and back section.
Dogs allowed but please let me know first. They will need to be on leash all the time and well behaved. Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed.
A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. All Sites have fire pits.
CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property.
Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching.
Please use bins supplied and leave no trace.
* There are 4 allocated camp sites. Two are easy(2WD & Vans/trailers) access and have the direct view through the valley. Two require high wheel clearance vehicles (just small hill to drive up with some rocks), these are more private sites(cannot see the other campers) still with lovely views. Please mention what car you have when booking.

It's a nice facility , well organized, clean , toilet and shower blocks , quiet at night when I was there . lots of different sites , the non powered sites are close together but fine for car camping , tents etc. It's close to Tallows Beach and a nature reserve with a trail from the park . You can take a bus to / from Byron , Uber etc or hire a bike or even walk . Parking in Byron is tight, I didn't need use my hire car to go into town.

When I booked to stay I also ordered a fresh loaf of home made bread, Tammie met me at the front door on our arrival with the freshly baked hot loaf of bread, straight from the oven. Definitely need a 4WD to get down to the river over the rocky road. Well worth the drive. We loved camping at the Rivers Edge for a couple of days. Very spacious with green grass, the sound of running water, no phone or wi-fi made it very relaxing for us. Would definitely camp there again in any of the camp spots and will recommend to family and friends.

What an amazing spot! Right on the rivers edge had the best sleeps ever with the sound of running water in the background , host was super friendly as were the horses and the fresh bread was warm and tasty, can’t wait to get back here

Tyalgum Sports and Camping Grounds is an ideal place for Camping and Caravanning.
The Managers of the Grounds are delightful, friendly and manage the grounds really well.
The amenities are very modern and cleaned every day.
The grounds has its own Tip/Dump Point.
Short walk to General Store, Cafes and a Hotel that offers great food.
The Grounds are also Pet Friendly
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Great place to camp! We stayed in spot 9, which situated between the orchards on a well kept grass. Plenty of space to set up your camp and have privacy between neighbours. Toilet and shower were easy walk away, and there were also cute goats, pigs and alpacas to mention a few. The area was overall very beautiful and quiet (Saturday-Sunday night).
Toilet doors would need some fix as the locking was bit sketchy, but they were clean and toilet paper was provided.

We loved this campsite! Site 3 is a secluded little oasis. There were lots of pickers weaving through the campsite when we were there on the weekend, but once picking closes in the arvo it feels like you’re the last people on Earth. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely book again!

The Blue Mountains

NSW North Coast
The coastline of northern NSW, from north of Newcastle to the Queensland border, is classic beach holiday territory. Flanked by the Great Dividing Range and World Heritage rainforests, the North Coast has Hipcampers spoilt for choice.
NSW South Coast
Every bit as wild as the North Coast, the South Coast stretches south of Sydney to the Victorian border with a string of national parks, state forests, campgrounds, and seaside towns with family-friendly holiday parks. Kangaroos and wallabies graze the camping grounds and laze on the beaches, which have some of the whitest sand in the world. Kayak the waterways, bushwalk the forests, and soak in the views from the mountaintops.
Snowy Mountains
Alpine New South Wales, also known as the Snowy Mountains, stretches from the ACT south to the Victorian border along the spine of the Great Dividing Range. Along with hundreds of camping spots, the big attraction of Kosciuszko National Park—the largest national park in NSW—is Australia’s highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko. In winter, the area is a magnet for skiers, and in summer, fishing, bushwalking, and mountain biking reign supreme.
NSW Outback
The far western corner of NSW is a great introduction to the Outback, where endless red dust plains seem to stretch on forever under cloudless blue skies. Take a road trip out here and you'll see plenty of kangaroos and emus, but not many people. National parks such as Mungo, Mutawintji, and Kinchega offer superb camping spots, Aboriginal art sites, and stunning scenery.
