David D. Terry Lock and Dam (aka Pool 6) has five recreational areas with some outstanding opportunities to fish in old river cutoffs and tailwaters of the dam. The recreational area is split by the city of Little Rock, with parks on the eastern and western limits of the city. The Arkansas River floodwaters attract and offer some of the best duck hunts anywhere. Yup, we’re talking even better than the old NES game with that snickering canine pal.
