We moved to this property after a year of searching for the perfect piece of land. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature. The more we fell in love with the peace and quiet of the desert, the fresh air, and the breathtaking view of the stars at night, the more we wanted to share our oasis with others. We love camping and wanted to be surrounded by others who love it as much as we do! We know some people prefer pitching a tent and complete solitude while others prefer a getaway with a really comfy bed and all the comforts of home! Whether you prefer to camp and would like hundreds of acres to yourselves or you would prefer to glamp in our private 80-acre tiny house village, we are here for you! Choose your adventure! Learn more about this land: Our land is surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and natural desert landscape. With plenty of surrounding vacant land and walking paths to explore, you will never get bored of the scenery.  Get away from neighbors and stretch out as you'll have acres all to yourself. As if the daytime views aren't breathtaking enough, the sunsets light up the sky in cotton candy to bright tangerine hues and magnify the beauty of the mountains. The night sky sparkles with stars and constellations as we are a dark sky community with very minimal light pollution for miles. The sounds of the desert and wildlife help you to get the deepest sleep as there is very little man made noise in our area. You can hike, dirt bike, bring your off-road vehicles, explore our property and rock hound for as many quartz as you can carry! You may even catch a glimpse of some wild horses, cows, bulls, birds, hawks, jackrabbits, and roadrunners! Nearby attractions include Keeylocko Cowtown (self proclaimed historic town just acres away with a old western vibe and bar), Kitt Peak Observatory, Saguaro National Park, Old Tucson, and Downtown Tucson. If you are new to camping, we can also help provide you with some of the necessities you may have forgotten for a small additional fee (chairs, water, tents, blankets etc). We encourage you to ditch your phone and enjoy nature while you are here. You wont want to miss these views! ** Please let us know if you do not have 4-wheel drive and will be towing a trailer, if you have large RV, or a car that doesn’t manage well on dirt roads. We have multiple campsites with different accessibility and want to help you find the perfect spot for your vehicle!

Dark Sky Camping
Girls’ weekend
We did a trip with grandma, daughters, and the kiddos and it was very relaxing! I loved having so much empty space around us. There were a few chollas but dogs didn’t have any poor outcomes. The grass vegetation was still soft and green and the sky sky was beautiful on the nights that we didn’t have cloud cover. One extra fun thing was when we walked down the road and we ran into some wild cows, and that was very special for the kids to see them from a distance! The site is also not too far from Tucson attractions, and we did a couple of day trips to Sauguaro Nat’l Park and the mission. It was a such a good experience for my first time camping without a man. Also, they delivered a bunch of firewood way more than we would get at the grocery store for the same price and had a telescope available for rental as well. All in all, and excellent trip. Beautiful.

Great campground and hospitality
Arriving at the campsite, we were greeted with amazing views and compete seclusion. We stayed at the Mountain View and it was nothing short of incredible!! Most of all, we are blown away by Bethania’s hospitality and her genuine enjoyment in what she does. Time and time again she proved that she really wants all of her campers to have an enjoyable stay, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. I mentioned once in a message early on when booking that I was celebrating my boyfriends birthday, and she remembered and went above and beyond to make sure he had a great birthday trip. The camp ground was excellent, but Bethania’s kind nature and welcoming personality will be the reason we will undoubtedly return.

The Teardrop: Dark Sky Camping
I loved loved this site! The setup was really sweet and considerate-- they had all the necessities plus a little smores kit! Lots of thoughtful details. The bed was comfortable and the stars at night were great. It did get a little spooky hearing cattle and coyotes out and about, but the sweetest ranch dogs stayed nearby and made us feel very safe. You don't really hear any of the other guests which was nice. We rented out the telescope but sadly couldn't figure out how to use it... but that could have just been us. Def would love to come back here!

Dark Sky Camping
Bethania and Brian were able to accommodate a last minute camping adventure, and it was just what we needed! Clear and accesible instructions to the site, clean, AND beautiful. The “Dark Sky” is definitely a fitting name as we were able to see the millions of stars and galaxies in the midst of a black sky curtain. There was plenty of natural firewood selection for the already prepared fire pit, and acres and acres of wonderful land to explore. We can’t wait to go back and create more memories!
