Get ready for your jaw to drop, and stay there for a while. Stariski State Recreation Site is perched on a bluff overlooking the mesmerizing waters of Cook Inlet. Visitors will be greeted by panoramic views of Mount Augustine, Mount Iliamna, and Mount Redoubt. While you’re here you can comb the beaches for treasures, gaze off at the snowcapped peaks, and cozy up by the campfire. Bring your camera for a chance to catch some eagles in flight or the majestic pink glow of the sunsets. The campgrounds might be a bit on the small side, but the views are mighty big.
