We are located on a rural road just 2 miles from Fort Rucker gates. Our Military families often stay with us while they are schooling for helicopter or helicopter mechanics school at the US Army Aviation training facility and museum. Our typical user is in a camper/RV or 5th wheel. Our RV sites have water, sewer and 50 AMP service and are back-in gravel or grass pads. We are on the banks of a large river, creek and have a small pond accessible by walking trail. We are really nicely located between Enterprise and Dothan with over 100000 population, but you wouldn't know it driving down our Old Newton Road. We have recently added a bath house so come check us out and stay a night, week month or year! Pets are welcomed.

Moonpie Farm and Creamery

7 sites ¡ RVs, Tents40 acres ¡ Cottondale, FL
The property has been in my family since the early 1930s. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents, it still standing and I currently use it for hatching/hospital/maternity ward/ nursery/ dog rooms. The old barn is now where most of the birds roost. The Greasy Skillet is now a big chicken coop. during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it. What is now my home was my grandparent's house. I renovated some of it and moved in after the loss of my grandma. We are a WORKING FARM You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store ! We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231. We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location! Please DO NOT take Sapp Rd or Admiral Rd they do not go to the farm.

The primitive campsite in Samson, Alabama, accessible only by 4-wheel drive, offers an idyllic and serene getaway on a picturesque farm with two pristine lakes perfect for fishing. Here's a detailed description: Location: Nestled on a private farm in the heart of Samson, Alabama, this primitive campsite is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. To reach it, we recommend an all wheel drive vehicle, as the campsite can be hard to access depending on how much rain we've received. Campsite Features: 1. Secluded Setting: The campsite is set amidst the farm's vast expanse, providing an undisturbed and tranquil atmosphere. 2. Two Lakes: The centerpiece of this camping experience is the presence of two beautiful lakes. Both lakes are easily accessible from the campsite, offering opportunities for fishing. 3. Sunset Views: One of the most enchanting features of this campsite is the breathtaking sunset views. As the sun begins its descent, the sky is painted with vivid hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a stunning backdrop for an evening at the campfire. 4. Peace and Quiet: The remote location of the campsite ensures a peaceful and undisturbed environment. It's the ideal spot to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature. 5. Campfire Area: A designated campfire area is provided, where you can gather around a crackling fire, roast marshmallows, and share stories with friends and family. 6. Campers must come fully prepared with their own camping gear, water, and sanitary provisions. 7. Wildlife and Nature: The farm is home to a variety of wildlife, so you might spot deer, rabbits, and a variety of birds during your stay. 8. Stargazing: With minimal light pollution in the area, the night sky becomes a canvas for stargazing. On clear nights, you can witness a breathtaking display of stars and constellations. This primitive campsite in Samson, Alabama, offers a unique and rustic camping experience for those seeking a peaceful escape into the natural beauty of the Alabama countryside. Private RV Site Full Hookup

1 site ¡ RV1 acre ¡ Fort Gaines, GA
We love the outdoors, so naturally, we love to camp. We were looking for a few properties that would allow us to get away and camp in a secluded area where we can enjoy nature. We found this property, and with its proximity to Lake Eufaula and George Bagby State Park, we knew that it was a perfect location. So now we want to make this property available for your enjoyment as well! Learn more about this land: Come and enjoy the great outdoors at Lake Eufaula (Walter F. George Reservoir). With your private RV site being located next to the entrance to George Bagby State Park, you will have easy access to all the activities and amenities that the lake and park have to offer. Whether you enjoy fishing, swimming, biking, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, a nature walk, or if you just want to relax by a fire at your campsite, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during your stay. The Park has a really nice boat landing, which is less than 1/2 mile from our lot, so it is very convenient to launch your boat. It also has a marina that is only $10 per day if you want to leave your boat at the lake while you are there, or you can just tie it up at the park if you want to head back to your campsite for a break during the day.  When you get back to the park with your catch you can make good use of the fish cleaning station as well. There are also picnic tables, a playground, a really nice swimming area, large pavilions, a restaurant, tennis courts, and a golf course at the Park as well. If you like wildlife viewing, you can take a walk or a bike ride on the paved bike path which is over 3 miles long. It is rare to walk or ride this path without seeing deer or other wildlife (refer to the pics section for more detail of the walking/bike path).  We also see deer from our campsite, more often than not, when we are there. Even though there are other residents on this drive, our lot backs up to a large wooded parcel of land and the lot next to this site is vacant, so you will have plenty of privacy during your stay.  Our RV is on another site on this property, but we normally won't be there if the site is booked so that our guests will have the whole property to themselves.  However, sometimes we have to come in on Friday evening to complete landscape maintenance on our other properties, if so, we will leave on Saturday afternoon.  This site has the following amenities: plenty of shade, a level gravel pad, and a fire pit. It also has a full hookup with electric, water, sewer, and free WIFI. We pay for garbage pickup as well, so there is a large can provided for your convenience (pickup is usually on Monday around 8 am).  This 1-acre site has more privacy than most campgrounds because there are no other campers 20' away. The site has easy access, as it is just a short distance off of the paved entrance road and to the park (refer to map in pics section for more detail on location). NOTE: Our site is not on the water, the pics of the lake are from areas within walking distance from our site.  When it comes to tent camping, we don't mind if you add a tent, but you must have an RV with a bathroom because there are no bathroom facilities on-site. Can you picture yourself here for a relaxing time at the Lake during the day, or enjoying a campfire at night? If so, go ahead and book this RV site for a getaway while the dates are available! Helpful Information:   If you need to shop, there is a Dollar General, Rubos Grocery, convenience stores (gas and bait), bulk ice machine with filtered drinking water, etc. in Fort Gaines which is only 3 miles away.   Also, there is an annual park pass available ($25 for seniors) that will allow you to visit any Georgia state park as many times as you would like throughout the year of purchase, which can be purchased at the lodge in Bagby. Other Parks -  East Bank Park 2.5 miles, Kolomoki Mounds State Park 17 miles, Providence Canyon State Park 37 miles, Yoholo Micco Trail 22 miles. We also have a 2 bd/2bth mobile home on a 1-acre lot across the road that we rent out as a short-term rental.  So if you need more room for family or friends, this may be an option for you. If you need any more information or you have any questions please feel free to ask.
