~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CLOSED FOR THE SEASON ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   A new site in 2020, 'Top of the Pond'  can accomdate trailers but no hookups. It is great for tent camping also.   You can pull in and park on a ridge overlooking the large pond, it's a nice view. There is a sturdy 70s era patio table and 4 comfortable chairs and a fire ring, also a second table and 4 chairs has been added.   It's pretty much wild, unmanicured woods, a view of the pond and there is a barn (not an aesthetically appealing one) across the clearing.  No electric or water. If you have a trailer, you can fill up (water) at my friend's house near by.  Please, no children under 10, deep water and steep sides on pond.  I have a porta potty on site, half way between the camps but not visible from either camp. There are about 45 acres of woods with a creek,  and roads to walk.  Fishing OK. This is a pack it out site. No out of state firewood by order of the Dept of Agriculture. Read that last sentence again.
We only got to stay 1 night on this beautiful property but our host Michelle was very responsive and the property was serene and peaceful. My dogs loved exploring and we enjoyed the beautiful ponds. The fire pit was perfect for a chilly evening and We would definitely stay here again!
The Above the Pond campsite was serene and private, perfect for a relaxing couples weekend. The water really is that color 🤩, beautiful! Michele was very accommodating with our last minute booking, was very helpful getting us set up when we arrived, and even saved us a trip for firewood with some to purchase on-site. Would recommend!
We LOVED visiting Michele’s property! The pond is gorgeous and our campsite felt very private. Completely relaxing, easy getting in and out with our 23” vanterra. Michele was super friendly and accommodating, and we hope to go back soon!
Michele was great and had a great site. It was peaceful and well secluded. The shade from the trees was perfect for the hot days that we were there. The pond was nice and the overall site was great. Would definitely come back again.
Private campsite, very nice host, pond was great, clean port-o-potty. There are lots of frogs and the site is mostly natural shade. Walmart 5 mins away if you need anything. Great spot if you’re looking for something private.
We had a pleasant stay at top of the pond. Michele was responsive and easy going, showing us around and making sure we were equipped. The site feels private although there is a main road in the distance that can be heard - the sound of summer insects drowns it out mostly though! The property is great and close to beaches as well. Would stay again and recommend. The Between the Ponds spot they also offer looks extra cozy and scenic :)
