The vibe at Historic Blueberry Farm
Places to see near Historic Blueberry Lane Farm!
Meghan, your host, is very excited and has put in a load of hard work with her family to bring Historic Blueberry Farm back to life! The market store is right near the road with the parking lot in front. There is a front porch the length of the store with several signs animated with large blueberry characters. Meghan took us on a tour of the blueberry fields on her rugged golf cart. The blueberry bushes were completely covered over with brush and trees a year and a half ago, so it’s amazing to see all the work they have completed to bring them back to production.
Inside the store you will find a large room available for sleeping, a bathroom with sink and toilet, and a kitchen with access to a refrigerator, stove, and sink for guests to use. There is a hose on the side of the store for an outdoor water spigot.
The camping area for now, is behind the store in a cleared area in the middle of the blueberries! Meghan had a outdoor canopy set up with a table and a couple of chairs for eating or getting out of the sun or rain. Also on hand were a small grill with charcoal, an assortment of other small tables and chairs, badmitten, and a portable cooler.
We visited during very early Spring, but the bushes weren’t leafed out yet, just small buds starting to form. We can only imagine how lush this spot will be in about a month when the flowers are open and the green is flush!

Let's just start by saying how awesome Meghan is! I was welcomed with a slice of chocolate cake and beer; she hung out, past her bedtime, to chat with me and make sure I was settled in comfortably. My initial plan was to stay one day but I ended up booking another night to hang out on the farm to help out and learn about pruning. I can now add Tractor Driver on my resume thanks to Mehgan. It was great getting to know more about her upcoming projects and all she wants to do to make future campers even more comfortable. I am super excited to see it all come together and I would love to revisit!

Had a great time on a very rainy night. Our host was very accommodating and helped us settle in. Very peaceful night sleep listening to the frogs sing.

Thank you glad you enjoyed your evening. Sorry the weather didn’t cooperate. We have many frogs that love to sing! Great to meet you.
Beautiful farm, very friendly owner, quiet and secure. Highly recommend.

Thanks for the kind words, we work hard to make the farm a great place for all to enjoy.
Our family absolutely loved staying at our campsite! Meghan was very kind and went the extra mile to accommodate our family of 6, which included 2 adults, 3 teenagers and an 8 month old. Meghan put up an outdoor baby swing for our son and had plenty of back up toys for him to use. We even forgot a play yard but Meghan had it!! We wanted a private camping experience and we got it. Definitely will come back again and the kids are already asking us to take them back! We loved being out away from everything yet only around 30 minutes to several beaches. It made our family vacation that much more fun.
The kids loved having the open space and enjoyed everything the campsite had to offer. Would highly recommend staying here!

Thank you so very happy we could help you have a great family vacation !
Stayed here for one night after spending the day at Rehoboth - campsite was beautiful and very private! Our host was super friendly and communicative. We definitely would stay here again!

Lincoln and I were very happy to meet you the following morning - Glad we were able to be part of your travels!
What an awesome place. Meghan was very kind and helpful, and the farm has all the extras you could want. And a stone's throw from several beaches in the area.
