Brenda was a great host! We arrived late and she was super accommodating. The site was in the woods and very private!

Brenda was very welcoming and helpful with setting up. It's a beautiful property with a lot of privacy and some cool wildlife. Perfect for a quiet getaway in solitude. It was also within reasonable distance to multiple state parks and the beach. Overall very peaceful.

The host, Brenda, was very friendly and responsive. Her land is beautiful - a lovely yard with horses, chickens, and a garden, and extensive woods in the back. My campsite was in the woods (site 2), which were beautiful and felt very safe, albeit buggy with ticks. I highly recommend this site!

Overview of camp site

Brenda's camping area was very nice. We chose site 3 for its size and isolation. All three sites are tucked back pretty far into the woods. So, there is a little bit of a walk to and from the car, but she will be widening the path to fit cars eventually. That will be a nice addition. She was kind enough to use her four-wheeler to transport our gear from the car to the site.
Once back at the site, there is plenty of space for several tents and hammocks. She provided two chairs, some small decorative solar lights, a shooting table and a small fire pit. Everything was clean and kept neat. I only wish she offered a picnic table instead of the shooting table, which we could not keep level.
Just outside the camping area was a picturesque cropped field, I think they were snap peas. The sunset just on the other side of the field making for a beautiful sunset. Stargazing in the field was decent too. There seem to be no mosquitoes, which was a nice surprise.
Overall, we liked the experience and will be back!

Thanks for the kind review. I hope you enjoyed your stay away from the city. Sorry about the table, but I've been looking for two suitable picnic tables for both sites. I have also added more seating since you left - two huge log seats - very primitive! Thanks for the improved firepit also!! Come again

Brenda was a gracious host with a beautiful property which consists of 10 wooded acres. Our site was about a 2 minute walk into the woods which was enough to feel immersed and private, Brenda helped us with our coolers and wood in a motorized buggy. We also sat adjacent to a soy bean field which turned out to be a great place to catch some sun in the day and stargaze at night.

We were extremely happy with our stay especially after booking last minute while fleeing a 25 mph sand storm on Assateague Island. We came for serenity and we found it with Brenda!
