Lazy Acres Lake is located 11 miles from interstate 40 in the beautiful farming community of Chesterfield, Tennessee. We have an abundance of wildlife including our own team of Khaki Campbell guard ducks and a piebald whitetail buck named Lucky who enjoys hanging out by the levee. Lake access is included with each site reservation. Life jackets required at all times for those with paddle please. Camp sites 1-3, the boat ramp and main parking area are located at the main entrance and offer gravel roads and parking. Look for the LAL logo on the left gate post. Camp site #4 the hiking trailhead and our back country campsites are located at the east entrance. Look for patriotic fence post near the road. If you end up traveling a long paved road that leads to a boat ramp with lots of parking, you zigged when you should have zagged. Turn around and lazy acres is across from where that road ends. Follow the access road along the tree line down to the water. The hiking trail is to the east across the footbridge. Look for white AT style blazes for trail markers. The blue blazes leading to each campsite. * All gates are open 24 hours when campers are present.

It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors and the Honeymoon Cottage makes for the perfect getaway afterwards. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors and the Honeymoon Cottage makes for the perfect getaway afterwards. This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. ASC tremendously helped Jennifer’s family after the loss of their military soldier and Peaceful Hills Retreat donates a portion of their profits to this amazing non-profit. A Soldier’s Child Foundation removed the shame and sadness from our loss and replaced it with hope, honor. and love. Lazy Acres Lake

Lazy Acres Lake is located 11 miles from interstate 40 in the beautiful farming community of Chesterfield, Tennessee. We have an abundance of wildlife including our own team of Khaki Campbell guard ducks and a piebald whitetail buck named Lucky who enjoys hanging out by the levee. Lake access is included with each site reservation. Life jackets required at all times for those with paddle please. Camp sites 1-3, the boat ramp and main parking area are located at the main entrance and offer gravel roads and parking. Look for the LAL logo on the left gate post. Camp site #4 the hiking trailhead and our back country campsites are located at the east entrance. Look for patriotic fence post near the road. If you end up traveling a long paved road that leads to a boat ramp with lots of parking, you zigged when you should have zagged. Turn around and lazy acres is across from where that road ends. Follow the access road along the tree line down to the water. The hiking trail is to the east across the footbridge. Look for white AT style blazes for trail markers. The blue blazes leading to each campsite. * All gates are open 24 hours when campers are present.

Our RV sites are extra-large and private with full hookups and fiber high speed WiFi . We are located two hours southwest of Nashville, TN in the charming small town of Clifton, TN. Our community sits on the stretch of the Tennessee River called the Kentucky Lake. The Kentucky Lake is the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi river. It covers 160,300 acres and features 2,300 miles of breathtaking shoreline. Bring your boat and use our private community boat ramp. You can stop at the marinas located nearby for food and live music. If you don’t have a boat, you can rent one nearby. Kentucky Lake is a boaters dream with its clean water and beautiful scenery. Boat storage is included in your stay. Additionally, some of the best freshwater fishing in the Country can be experienced in the Kentucky Lake and is known for excellent fishing for large and small mouth bass, bluegill, white bass, catfish, and many more. You can fish directly from your site on most waterfront sites or use our dock. If you like to kayak, you will enjoy the tree-lined, calm, four mile long cove in our community. You can directly access the cove from your site when you stay on a “cove site.” We are open year-round. We offer nightly, weekly, and long term stays on all our sites.
